Caio Reisewitz

Photographer, his practice has focused mainly on issues related to the Brazilian context and landscape. His large-scale photographs are interested in exploring the transformations of the city and the natural landscape in the face of economic development. In his work, modern and colonial architecture also stands out, with a tension with that of natural settings such as tropical forests. He also works on photocollage.

Project in Plataforma Atacama

Caio Reisewitz spent 10 days photographing the plateau at an altitude of 4,5 thousand meters in the Atacama desert, capturing images that speak to the economic challenges that the exuberant landscape represents for the country. He created large scale collages with them which were exhibited at Fiac (France)
